Description

Biaga. Singing chorus and flutes with reps. 1st section before signal (on tape) not Biaga but Kahetom visitors recorded in Biaga ? bush people? TS don’t recall. See notes. The Biaga area of the upper Sepik River region is west of Ambunti District station and located north of the April River. The inferred language used in the area is Bitara an alternate name in SIL for Berinomo (bit). (Steven Gagau, September 2017)
