Biography
illustrator and writer, was born in Adelaide. Studied South Australian School of Art, Adelaide with Wilkie. Began working as an illustrator in Adelaide in the 1930s (see Peaceful Army ). Apart from a visit to Sydney in 1937, she lived in England from 1935. A coloured poster she designed for London’s Southern Railway is in the James Hardie Childhood collection (now Mitchell Library, State Library of New South Wales, Sydney, NSW), which also holds a Chinese scene.
