Biography
painter, printmaker and teacher, born Perth. Came to Sydney and studied with Desiderius Orban c.1948. Married painter James Sharp. Inspired by Japanese woodblock prints, she made her first linocuts and woodcuts in 1956; in 1964 she began to teach at the Willoughby Art Centre. From 1961 she exhibited with the Sydney Printmakers’ Group (of which she was a founding member)and had work included in many international exhibitions. Prizes: Maitland 1969, Berrima (shared) 1974.
