Biography
needleworker of Nambour, Qld, exhibited needlework and handicrafts from the 1920s to the 1970s at agricultural shows and Country Women’s Association competitions throughout Australia. In 1980 she donated a collection of her work to the Queensland Museum – 129 pieces of needlework and handicrafts, prize certificates and sashes, her embroidery needles, a needlework encyclopaedia and photocopies of her scrapbook of undated press clippings.
