Description

30O Waratah Sub of Newcastle - named after the house built and named by Charles Simpson, Customs Collector at Newcastle, after the Australian Flower. It was originally called North Waratah as it marked the extreme north of where the Waratah was found, (from Victoria to the Hunter River). Ref: Stretch Ledger A9082
