28N Cockfighter Creek W Singleton - another name for Wollombi Creek - so named in 1820 by J Howe & Benjamin Singleton of Windsor because one of their horses, cockfighter by name, was bogged in the creek on their return trip from Wallis Plains (Maitland) and Patrick Plains (Singleton) to windsor.
