Description

St. Andrews Kirk, Cnr. Dawson & Sturt Sts. Ballarat "Ballarat and District in 1901" writes of this with more enthusiasm than any other example of Ballarat architecture. "Splendid sample of Norman architecture reminding one of some ancient English abbey or cathedral, notably Rochester (Kent). In 1884 the tower was completed The principal entrance is a triumph of art, reflecting credit upon the original architect (C.D.Cuthbert) who designed it and the stonemason whoever he was who executed it.
