Description

"Shakespeare Terrace" Punt Rd, Richmond 1889 Arch. Contractors: Meredith + Pillard Cost: 6500 A.B. + C.N. 1889 p. 608 (Note to illustration) records that the construction is of coloured brick, tuck- pointed, with cement dressings. "The architect . Has somewhat deviated from the general style of terrace arch -itecture/properties by introducing two wings and a central feature, which are brought our in brickwork, on iron columns, a little in front of the intermediate houses, thereby adding considerably to the relief and producing a front of unique type."
