Description

"Shakespeare Terrrace" Punt Rd. Richmond, 1889; Arch.; Contractors: Meredith & Pillard cost 6,500; AB & CN 1889, p. 608 (Note to illustration) records that the construction is of coloured brick, tuck-pointed, with cement dressings. "The architect... has somewhat deviated from the general style of terrace architecture properties by introducing two wings and a central feature, which are brought out in brickwork, on iron columns, a little in front of the intermediate houses, thereby adding considerably to the relief and producing a front of unique style."
