Description

69 Woodland St. Strathmore, 1889/90, Oakden, Addison & Kemp; AB & CN April 20. 1889, Ill. p. 372, text 379 - This residence for A. Mc Cracken Esq. had been tendered for at 10,750. It was built of bluestone foundations & red brick (Northcote) walls, Waurn Ponds stone dressings. The Marseilles roof tiles 'lately introduced into this colony" were "here used largely for the first time"..."here used largely for the first time". The roof railing surrounds a promenade.
