Description

243 Collins St. (Peter Fox), Originally the Fourth Victorian Building office, R.J. Hadden 1912, Bldng. Oct 1912 p. 123 comments on the cubicle projections (which the architect explained as entended to enliven the building with shodow). The ovals evidently originally contained majolica lion's heads, locally produced which "slavered"majolica streams down the building. Formerly the offices of Wunderlich & Co., & thus ill. in "40 yrs. of Wunderlich Industry p.170
