Side A:
Western Highlands Provincial Government Day celebrations on 27th October 1978 at Mid-Waghi following its establishment on 26th October 1978. There were speeches from dignitaries at local community, provincial authority and other invited provincial governments like East New Britain and PNG national government. There were entertainment with stringbands and traditional singsing performances representing various districts and areas of North Waghi, Nondugal, Jimi, South Waghi, Minj and and the neighbouring areas of Madang Province.
The Waghi region of Western Highlands has since been created to become Jiwaka Province in May 2012.
Side B:
Storytelling by Jiruka and Kukika about the death of Poko at Kar river. Poko was a old woman and her children were not doing the way of village life she taught in making garden, looking after pigs and chickens and resorting to bad behaviours so not honouring or respecting her in this manner.
There are various traditional singsings from North Waghi, Nongul and South Waghi, Miji performed by male and female groups dancing with kundu drums and responding to each other in their performances.

Story#4 about situation of a boy and girl (Digin) relationship and marriage custom in the South Waghi, Minj area. Despite the marriage to a different clan not announced to the parents, it was by surprise and sadness but understanding that the two other daughters of Wandi and wife will also leave the home to marriage, it was accepted and bride price payment was arranged (K3,000 and 20 pigs). It is customary in the area that payments are delayed to see commitment of the marriage usually till the first child so the exchange of bride price can be done.
Story#5 about Tumbe making a new coffee garden in a new area of the Waghi valley known to people that many evil spirits exists. Tumbe as example of this experience being consumed and went missing. Thankfully the spirits released and returned to his village and decided to re-settled in Konjambi, Minj area, South Waghi area.
Story#6 about the Malaki from Southern Highlands who was the security of coffee plantation at Banz, North Waghi area who was attacked and killed by "rascals" and body repatriated and the ten attackers brought to justice and jailed.
Side B:
Various stories from night hunting of cuscus (possum marsupial) and sharing in the village after cooking them in steam pit using hot stones and processes of bride price from acceptance, agreements of exchange of payments in pigs, money, material items between both clans and families and creating the harmonious relationship.

Story#1 - 10th PNG Independence anniversary celebrations on 14th,15th and 16th September in Minj town, South Waghi.
Story#2 - Death of Mogun Pok due to ill health diagnosed with cancer. He visited various hospitals in South Waghi in Minj, Kudjip, Goroka and Lae but never recovered so passed away. Also some sadness in the passing of numerous relatives in 1985 and expressed as not such a good year.
Side B:
Story#3 about a snake chase experience when preparing to get thatch roofing grass for a new house to build.
Story#4 about fishing experience at Waghi river and besides plenty of fish caught and big eel was part of the catch as a first time. The first eel catch was celebrated by family the customary way with also feast with a pig and meal shared with village people.
Story#5 about armed robbery where an expatriate coffee estate manager was held up and K10,000 was taken for two rascals.

A Sepik man was hired from Lae did his black magic to identify who did it and confirmed his wife. He did not continue his traditional healing on Kalne due to non payment and eventually he died. Other stories relate to Kalne and people around his who support him with his situation till his ill health and eventual death.

Side A:
Recordings by Government officers (kiaps) in the 1960s' (11/2/1964) about crazed men in warriors with spears and bows and arrows jumping around, shouting, yelling, whistling, singing and dancing. Their actions were serious at first like attacking and later calmed down not to be threatening in such situations for safety and not to be in danger of the kiaps and their families.
Side B:
In preparation to celebrating the official PNG independence day on 16th September 1975, a number of traditional songs were performed called "Singsing tanimhet". These are the customary song tradition by both males and females seated cross-legged and facing each other and whilst singing turning their heads continuously and consistently sideways both slowly and fast to the rhythms of the songs.
