Painter and musician born in England where she attended the Slade School of Art. She married Herbert Gibbs in 1873 whilst still a student. They immigrated to South Australia in 1881 from where they came to Western Australia in 1885. She helped start the Wilgie Sketch Club in 1889 also the Music Union and West Australian Society of Arts in 1896. She was the mother of May and sister of Jenette Ridley. This entry is a stub.
