Biography
Carpenter and wood turner, the son of Hookam and Hannah was born in Perth, Western Australia. He assisted R. C. Clifton with the five or so pipe organs he made for local churches. Chan is listed as an upholsterer in the 1884-89 Almanacks. In 1893-94 he was in St Georges Terrace, Perth but had altered the spelling of his surname to 'Tchan’. This entry is a stub.
