Biography
Cartoonist and soldier, drew WWII cartoons in 1941-48 when he was a sergeant in the 2/2nd Field Regiment. Five items of correspondence on Liddy’s contribution to various journals, including the Australian Journal , Parade and the Militia Monthly , are in the Australian War Memorial, along with some of his original cartoons (AAWM PR85/ 154).
