Biography
Artist and illustrator who was born in New South Wales. He was a commercial art student at Perth Technical School from 1935 to 1937 then from 1938 to 1941. He studied under Norman Lindsay in New South Wales. Penberthy is known for his mural and ceiling paintings undertaken during the 1950s, including his Oriental Mural for a client’s 'oriental room’ in Stawell, Victoria.
