Biography
cartoonist, caricaturist, painter, singer, writer, musician and entertainer, was born in Perth. He has lived in England since about 1960 but regularly revisits Australia. He painted a mural at the entrance to the Children’s Ward, Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, during National Cartooning Week, September 1993 (Lindesay 1994, 82). Is a Sydney member of the Australian Black and White Artists’ Club (1994) even though he lives in London. Rolf’s aunt was Pixie O’Harris , so he is a cousin of her daughter Robyn Tranter, an art historian who lives in Cremorne with husband Peter Tranter, a former North Sydney councillor.
