Biography
Born 'in the bush’ near Lake Gregory c. 1935, Dinny Brown was one of the first people in the Mulan community to begin painting there in 1989 for Warlayirti Artists. A Walmatjari speaker, the artist is one of the senior men of the Mulan community, who puts a lot of his wide personal experience of Men’s law into his paintings. The artist’s country is around Lake Gregory and his principal Dreaming is Water. He is a quiet reflective man whose poor eyesight prevents him from painting a great deal.
