Biography
A Luritja speaker, born near the Finke Mission in the 1930s, Emily now lives in Alice Springs and is a student of the Institute for Aboriginal Development literacy course. She began painting in 1991/2 while at IAD, painting her mother’s (Emu) and father’s (Snake) Dreamings. She has sold her work through Jukurrpa artists’ co-operative, based at IAD.
