Born c.1940 in the Central Tanami, his language/tribe is Warlpiri and country Yinapalku. His Dreamings are Turlturlypa, Ngayaki (Bush Tomato) and Yarla (Yam). He lives at Lajamanu and sometimes works with his wife, Marlene Johnson . He started painting in 1986.
