Roger 'Bushfire’ Saunders is a Ngarrindjeri painter from Coobowie on the Yorke Peninisula, South Australia. His paintings have been exhibited in local art awards since 2004. He was a participating artist in the annual 'Our Mob’ exhibition at the Adelaide Fesival Centre in 2008. Saunders spends half of each year living in Bundaberg, Queensland where he was asked by local Aboriginal elders to paint two coffins.
