Andersen studied at the Julian Ashton School, Sydney, from 1970-72 and later under Graeme Inson in Sydney and Robert Grieve and Murray Walker in Melbourne.Jesper Andersen attended the prestigious Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney where he won the Phillip Musket landscape prize.
