Biography
Amelia Rowe, mixed media artist, is based in Lauceston, Tasmania, and uses sculpture and installation to respond to those living within the West Tamar Valley. Rowe received her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Tasmania, Launceston, in 2012. She has participated in a number of exhibitions, including '...come to life…’, an exhibition showcasing emerging Tasmanian artists, which was co-curated by the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG) and Contemporary Art Spaces Tasmania (CAST) and held at the QVMAG, Launceston, from 13 July 2012 to 17 February 2013.
