Jimmy Little was a Yorta Yorta musician who rose to prominence in the 1960s. He was inducted into the ARIA Australian Music Hall of Fame in 1999. He was declared 'a living Australian treasure' in a public vote and he also founded the Jimmy Little foundation "...to improve renal health across Indigenous communities in regional and remote Australia."
