sketcher, second daughter of Austin Forrest Wilshire, a Sydney merchant, and Eliza, née Pitt, married Frank Lord in Sydney on 8 August 1871. Her undated pencil sketch on tinted paper, Rushcutters Bay (Mitchell Library), is inscribed verso 'To Mary Prince from her affectionate friend Alice Wilshire’ so was obviously done before her marriage.
