Only corroborees that were recorded can be represented, such that these are often those witnessed by and/or performed for colonists and other audiences. Their distribution therefor reflects colonial presence rather than the distribution of corroborees.
A corroboree was advertised in Maclean and took place in Macnaughtan's paddock. 200 dusky performers including King Henry, Queen Nellie and other members of the family took place in the evening. The audience was not up to expectations so the show was terminated before they had gone properly into the performances.
