Description

John Carlisle grew up with Mirning speakers in the south-east of Western Australia and was known as the 'last of the Mirning'. Thieberger tried to find Carlisle at various times in the late 1980s and early 1990s and eventually found him in the Royal Perth Hospital where this recording was made. There is a great deal of background noise.
